Nothing is more certain than death. This is fact! You are alive now, but you know that one day, sooner or later, you are going to be declared officially dead by some doctors in a hospital and then people will cry and hit themselves over your fate and try to remember just how good you were to them and how you managed to make life a little easier for them and bla bla bla…
Anyway, death is certain. You may have been able to escape many things during your lifetime but you really cannot escape dying; it will happen and you will cease to exist one day. Most persons have necrophobia and can’t imagine being close to dead people. Ironially, however, one day, they will become exactly what they have a serious phobia for.
Now, there are certain things that do happen to people’s bodies when they die. They may be dead and oblivious to things that happen around them but their bodies keep reacting to certain things that occur in the aftermath of death.
Well, it’s not that this really does matter to anyone anyway, after all, you won’t be there to see what happens to your body after you’re dead, but you may want to just know about these crazy occurrences, you know, out of curiosity.

1. Your Wrinkles Disappear
Can you believe this? Your wrinkles do disappear when you pass away. Fascinating right? Absolutely!
Experts have revealed that once a person dies, the tension which pulls at their muscles begins to loosen up, causing the skin to let go of its wrinkles. Apparently, this causes the wrinkles to smoothen and disappear.
It has been revealed that this process is actually the same science behind Botox. You, however, need to know that this process where the skin smoothens up, does not apply to old and saggy skin. Only the forehead and smile lines can, in reality, disappear.
2. You Can Poo And Even Pee On Yourself After You Die
Ok, this one gets even more creepy, right? Well, it’s true. When a person dies, they actually emit poo and urine, sometimes frequently and in large quantity. Now, let us explain why this happens.
You have to realize that when you eventually die, everything about you begins to loosen up. Your wrinkles, your veins….everything starts relaxing. This process allows gasses including, of course, your bladder and even bowel fluids to pour out of your body uncontrollably.
Experts reveal that after a person dies, the muscles that are in charge of keeping their bladder and bowels under control actually begins to loosen up and this is why the dead body can release those fluids, sometimes in large quantity.
3. You Might Moan and Even Groan With Discomfort
If you think that once you die, you will become eternally quiet, then you better think again because when you die, you can moan out and groan, sometimes loudly, with seeming discomfort.
Ok, don’t freak out, let us explain what really happens. Now, even though a dead person no longer breathes and is no longer alive, the body still retains some oxygen inside the lungs and this what causes the groaning sometimes. It is noteworthy that the dead body does not just groan on its own, it has to receive some pressure to the chest. When pressure is applied to the chest, especially when the body is being moved, the vocal cords can be rattled and that will allow the body to begin making all sorts of sounds such as moaning, growing and even sighing.
4. Dead Men Can Get “Boners”
Can you believe this? A dead man can get a boner! Does this that mean dead men can be horny or even get aroused by the opposite sex?

Now, a dead person can naturally not get aroused by the opposite sex or even get horny but his penis can get erect. This is because when you die and your heart eventually stops pumping blood as usual around the body, the blood can gather up in the lowest possible area of the body. For most men, the blood gathers around the penis, especially if they lie face down. This can make recently deceased men have an erection because the blood gathered around the penis makes it strong and stiff.
5. Your Body Can Explode After You Die
Now, this is quite unbelievable, isn’t it? You ask, how can the body explode after a person dies? Does the body become an explosive device after a person’s death? No, none of that happens.
This is what happens; when a person dies and the body is not discovered in time, the body begins to decompose in the open and the decomposing gases can build up inside the body and eventually cause the organs to violently erupt.
