Following the sudden end of the telenovela Isipho, the fast rising star landed another role on one of the most sought-after South African soaps Generations, aired on SABC1.
He made his debut on Generations- the Legacy on May 15, where he plays the role of Luyolo whos character is a Rastafarian medical school graduate who went head over heels with Lesedi, a young pretty lady, whom he met in a Night club.
In an interview with TishaLIVE, where he was asked about his role as Luyolo, Karabo gave insights as to why he became interested in the character, explaining that the society believed in a single story of Rastafarians seeing them as only being smokers or stoners. Therefore, most people don’t believe that anyone of them could be responsible enough to become a doctor, this was why he loved playing that character, so as to change such narratives about Rastafarians in the society.
7. The Multi-talented actor is also an acapella singer
Aside acting, and presenting, Karabo equally has talents in music. He is attributed to starting the acapella-based music group known as This Is It. The group once competed in the National Eisteddfod music competition and made it to the semi-finals. Nonetheless, at the moment, he is yet to release any music track, but he has hinted his fans to anticipate his hit track soon enough.
