Unlike anything you would ever get to see, a Florida man was forced to fight for his dear life after he decided to kiss a snake that kissed back in the only way it knows to.
According to a CBS local report quoted by IflScience, Ron Reinold decided to play with the dangerous snake which was caught by his neighbor a day earlier.
It was at this point that he decided it wouldn’t be a bad idea to kiss a snake, although it remains unclear the kind of kissing he had wanted sharing with the serpent. Nevertheless, in kissing back, the snake decided to bite him on the tongue.
It was with the help of a helicopter that Ron was rushed to the hospital for an immediate treatment.
According to family members, he was put in a Coma in which he was expected not to wake up at least until after some days. He was, however, able to wake up soon enough and was beginning to make signs with his hands.
Reinold’s neighbor, Charles Goff stated that he came by the deadly snake on Monday but as he didn’t know how to handle it, he decided to keep it in a tank.
Speaking to Action News Jax, Goff said “The next morning before I got up, they were playing with the snake. One boy said, ‘I’m going to kiss it in the mouth,’ and the snake bit him in the face.”

Goff went on to state he believes Ron was just acting silly; “I guess he said he could kiss the devil and get away with it, but evidently he didn’t.”
This is not the first time that someone is almost losing his life for trying to kiss a snake. It Was reported in 2015, that another Florida boy who was 10 years old at the time, decided to share a kiss with a snake since he was used to playing with them.
The bad idea was that he decided to keep the snake in a pillow before deciding on the adventure which led him to a hospital bed.
There was as well a report on a Chinese woman that got bitten by a snake live on camera as she tried to kiss the python. The 29-year-old lady who was on tour in Thailand was lucky that the snake was not venomous, nevertheless, it still left a mark on her face.
One who was not lucky, on another hand, was a snake rescuer, Somnath Mhatre. The 25-year-old man who was from Navi Mumbai died after he also tried to kiss a snake. This time around it was a cobra.
According to IndianExpress, Mahtre had captured more than a hundred snakes before February 2017 when he rescued a Cobra and tried planting a kiss on the serpent. The beast decided to bite him on the chest.
He was, however, rushed to a hospital where he fought for his life for three days before giving in.
Kissing snakes is definitely not one of the biggest deals for snake charmers, however, if you are not one, you may as well do well by staying off. This is not to suggest that even snake charmers are immune to snake bites as some have actually lost their lives in the process.
