1. He was born in Benue state Nigeria
Kunle Remi’s family are natives of Ekiti state. However, he was born in Gboko, Benue state with the birth name Oyekunle Oluwaremi Opeyemi on the 18th of October, 1988 to the family of Engineer Joseph Ibukun Oluwaremi and Mrs. S. O Oluwaremi who is a school owner.
Kunle Remi has five siblings and they all grew up together under a Christian background.
2. He is a graduate of New York film Institute Los Angeles
Kunle Remi started his education in Ibadan Oyo state, where he had his primary and secondary school education. He later gained admission to study fisheries and wildlife management from the University of Ibadan.
While at the University of Ibadan he gained admission to study Tourism and Hospitality Management at Sheffield University in the United Kingdom and subsequently left Nigeria for the United Kingdom.
According to the actor, his course of study was not related to his current profession and because of his passion for acting, he proceeded to New York film academy Los Angeles where he studied acting and graduated in 2014. He was said to have returned to the same academy for filmmaking and directing and graduated in 2015.

Kunle Remi started his acting career in 2011 after winning the Gulder Ultimate Search in 2010. He had his first major role in the movie Heavy Beauty produced by Grace Edwin Okon and directed by Stanlee Ohikhuare.
He later starred in several films, TV series and stage plays including family forever, Tinsel, Lagos Cougars Reloaded, The Getaway, Falling, and Africa Magic’s Forbidden. Kunle has also featured in quite a number of Africa Magic Original films. Remi worked as a TV host for an internet TV channel, Celebville 360 while he was studying at the New York Film Academy.
His debut as a TV host was reporting live at the Academy Awards nomination event that held in Beverly Hills, California. 8. He had an injury from a fan
Meeting a celebrity for the first time could be very exciting and could make one express their excitement in different ways. In November 2016, Kunle was said to have sustained a major scar from one of his supposed “excited fans” who accidentally cut him with a broken glass at a bar.
However, the actor revealed his doubts on his Instagram page as to whether it was really an accident because he had bled so much that he passed out and was rushed to the hospital. The incident left him hospitalized for a while.
