There was a time that we have all thought that the ship has sailed away without Nokia after it vehemently refused to sail with other phones into the Android territory but rather decided to stick with its Symbian version. Nonetheless, now with a good number of Nokia Android phones hitting from different directions, it is not slowing down.
It has been confirmed by the company that it has now decided to update all its Android phones to the latest android version which is known as the Android “P”. According to Nokia, it is bringing the update to all the available Nokia Android phones such as the:
- Nokia 6 (2017)
- Nokia 5 (2017)
- Nokia 3 (2017)
- Nokia 7 plus
- Nokia 8 Sirocco
- Nokia 5.1
- Nokia 3.1
- Nokia 6.1
- Nokia X6
- Nokia 2 (2017)
- Nokia 2.1
While Nokia is not the first to make the promise of bringing the upgrade, it remains to be seen whether the brand which is also a part of Google’s Android One programme will be the first to keep to the promise. The Andriod one has become the standard software as it has an Android operating system that has not been modified, meaning you will get a greater consistency of performance and greater security as it is continuously updated.
