If you have ever dreamt of understanding many languages but have been battling how to learn them, I can officially tell you to forget about learning. This is thanks to these super cool earbuds that can translate 40 languages in real time.
These buds of the future were revealed last week alongside Google’s new Pixel 2 phone at an event in San Francisco. While the phone is coming as an update to its Home device, the Pixel Buds is coming as something completely new.

The way the buds are designed to function is almost as easy as you will hardly believe. All it does is to use Google Translate Technology, and it will be able to take you through up to 40 languages from different parts of the world. Do you smell Babel?
Well, this is kind of the same. These wireless headphones, not too dissimilar to Apple’s Air Pods, sit in your ear. They are attached to each other by a wire and have a touch panel on the front of them.
On your part, once you hold the right earbud and give a command such as “help me speak French”, the Buds would automatically play the translation out loud in French. If someone speaks to you in French, the Buds will play you the translation in your ear in the language you are using.
“It’s like you’ve got your own personal translator with you everywhere you go,” Google said in blog post.
The good thing with these wireless earbuds is that they come with ease and you can charge them, and once that is done, they can last for as much as 24 hours.
What this is doing is extending the frontiers of Google assist. And yeah, we love it!

Google is not the first to offer this technology. Skype and a start-up called Pilot both touted speech translations. But the Pixel Buds offers it much better bot only because it is all in real time, but also because of the accuracy and affordability, it guarantees. They will retail for just $159. They’ll start going on sale in November.
