As artificial intelligence keeps spinning in an alarming rate, the cases of robots taking over jobs and homes is getting serious.
Reports from developed countries and the robot capital of the world, Japan, are indicating that already, jobs are being lost to robots. An insurance company in the country is seeing off over 30 of its workers and their places would ve replaced by robots.
According to the firm, Fukoku Mutual Life Insurance, by introducing artificial intelligence software, productivity will be raised by 30 percent. This will also save money for the company, as well as increase accuracy.
The Guardian points out that with this, Fukoku will save 140 million yen (around $1.2 million) after it’s inserted the AI system.

The release stated that jobs the robots would be brought in to handle include the automatic encoding and classification of diseases, disasters, surgery, and so on.
Interestingly, business owners will soon start joining the trend as all these robots need is to be powered, and they would work tirelessly and obediently.
You will be wrong to believe that that is only job that these robots are taking over. Already, there are robots created to sell products, even as indications are emerging that jobs such as driving, accounting, medical services, and so on may soon shift hands to robots.
While this is one thing to worry about, the greater worry is that more robots are being created to take over homes. I am not talking in the sence of house chores, although that too is inclusive, but they will practically turn like wives and husbands, although they wont be able to give birth.
This is mainly as sex robots are being created exactly like men and women. Their duty is to give sexual pleasure to men and women. The fear with this is that soon it will start disconnecting intimacy, and with them maintaining the home, a large gap will be created that could wreck the home forever.
