2. Charges
You get to be charged based on how long you stay. The times and charges are: for 30 minutes of service, one is charged 80€ and for an hour, the charge is 80€. Just as with the regular brothel services, LumiDolls in Barcelona offer home and all night services at agreed prices. It has 4 workers; and a human receptionist.
Located at the Greater Toronto Area in Canada, Aura Dolls sex doll brothel, charges $90 for 30 minutes, $120 for an hour, and $240 for 2 hours.
3. Protests
Prostitutes are already protesting that this is not proper and that it cannot compare to what they can offer. More to this, the Association of Sex Professionals working in Barcelona have cried out that the sex doll brothels are only going to objectify women.
According to Janet, a prostitute with over 30 years in the industry, while speaking to co.uk, “It is another strategy of the patriarchy that presents us as objects without rights or soul. A privilege of the wealthy classes.”
4. Closure
The protest by the prostitutes has forced the Barcelona brothel to move to a hidden location which only paying members to get to know about, after contacting the company via calls and online. It used to be at 2 Baixada de Sant Miquel in the Spanish city’s Gothic quarter, north of the cathedral, before being moved.
5. The Dolls
The dolls are said to be totally realistic dolls both in their movements and in their “feel.” The thing, however, is that there is no response to touch or any other thing you will get with a real person.
The cost of these dolls is very high for some people to afford, placing at over $10,000, as such people prefer to visit such brothels.
