An artificial intelligence sex doll, Samantha has been created with the ability to form emotional closeness.
Wiredbugs gathered that Samantha was unveiled in Barcelona on the 16th day of March 2017.
When sex doll Samantha was unveiled to the world, one of its maker, Sergi Santos divulged that aside forming an emotional bond, Samantha can display a variety of moods.

She can keep up with the atmosphere of a family gathering, and, can move from being romantic to feeling sexy.
Stressing that sex doll Samantha was created to be interactive, Santos disclosed that the doll likes being touched.
“Basically,” Santos said; “she likes to be touched. She has different modes of interaction: She has romantic, she has family and she has sexy modes.
“You can touch (her) in the hips (and) in the arms. She likes to be kissed. She also responds to the G-spot and the breasts.
She can also respond to the hands. The hands are romantic.”
That’s not all, Santos further disclosed the sexy spots of Samantha. He said: “The spots she feels sexy are the mouth and the G-spot.
“The final objective of the sexual mode is to get her to get an orgasm,” added Santos.

While the move attracted much outrage then, the founder of Trottla, Shin Takagi contended that the lifelike child sex dolls were intended to help pedophiles stop committing crimes.
The dolls, which were designed by a man who reportedly admitted that he’s sexually attracted to kids, was justified by the expectation that it would help pedophiles attain their fantasies.
According to Takagi, the child sex dolls are saving children from sexual abuse. He was quoted to have said:
“I often receive letters from buyers…the letters say, ‘thanks to your dolls, I can keep from committing crime.’
“I hear statements like that from doctors, prep school teachers (and) even celebrities.”
He further uttered that “being a pedophile is like living with a mask…We should accept that there is no way to change someone’s fetishes.
“I am helping people express their desires legally and ethically.
It’s not worth living if you have to live with repressed desire,” Takagi argued.
