If there ever comes a thing like a 3rd World War, a larger part of the world may never get to survive because of the dangerous military technologies that have been designed by many countries like the United States, China, Russia, Israel, North Korea, Japan, and Iran. And no, I am not talking about nukes here, as these are things that may be simple, yet dangerous.
in 2018, the United States spent $700 billion on its defense, even when many other countries of the world do not have up to $30 billion for their entire budget; Nigeria- $23 billion, South Africa – $116 billion, Angola – $124 billion, Algeria – $53 billion , and Egypt – $40 billion. The military defense budget of Japan was put at $46 billion.
Here are the top simple but dangerous military technologies
1. ADAPTIV

You know the thing with chameleon? That is the thing with this Tank. It has been designed to camouflage its environment in such a way that would be difficult for the enemy to spot. This infrared military camouflage technology was developed in Sweden for war vehicles.
Developed by BAE Systems AB, this tank comes with various hexagonal Peltier plates that can easily change in temperature with the simple objective of forming images that blend with the environment.
2. Legged Squad Support System (LSSS)
I should call this an iron horse. Referred to as the Legged Squad Support System, this military technology was designed to transfer military wares to war fronts as well as transfer weapons and food in short distances for the military. It is a rugged piece that can work actively in all weather conditions. Why is this a dangerous military technology? How long before these “horses” are designed to fight wars themselves?
As they are right now, they may not be the most dangerous, but with time, they may get to evolve into something just completely crazy. The robot of burden which is named Alphadog was designed by the US Marine Corps Warfighting Lab in partnership with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and Boston Dynamics
3. The CornerShot
The CornerShot is a collaboration between Israeli and some American Investors. It is a rifle and grenade launcher which was designed to be mostly used against terrorists. It is made in such a way that you can attack an enemy without having to expose yourself.

While this is still not among the most popular weapons, it has great prospects of changing the way things are done.
4. Quantum Stealth
The Quantum Stealth is definitely not one thing the enemy would appreciate. While the Adaptive camouflages, the Quantum Stealth makes you invisible. Creepy? What it does is to bend light around you to make you invincible. You don’t want to imagine how this is a very dangerous military technology.
Once thought to be something only obtainable in science fiction, this technology was designed by Hyperstealth Biotechnology Corp in Canada, and as rightly said, it can make you completely invincible.
5. Taranis
Also known as Raptor, this is an unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) which is named after the Celtic god of thunder. It is a warplane designed to carry different weapons and go on solo missions. It is controlled through satellite and can carry out different forms of attack. This is even more dangerous as it will make use of stealth technology.
The Taranis was formally unveiled in 2010 and it made its first flight in August 2013 and it is controlled by humans. It is a project of the BAE Systems which is sponsored by the UK MOD and UK industry. Rolls-Royce, the Systems division of GE Aviation (previously known as the Smiths Aerospace) and QinetiQ are others that have been a part of the project.
6. Napalm Bomb
Maybe this is the worst way of attack. The Napalm is a flammable liquid which is made of fuel and gelling agent. When used on one, this can cause severe burns that may even cause death.
For the records, there is nothing simple with the way this functions, just as there is nothing simple with fire. The first time it was used was in 1944 on the island of Tinian.
7. PHASR
What the US military seeks to achieve with this weapon is to take you off without causing any permanent damage. PHASR is a “non-lethal” laser rifle that would blind the enemy or suspect for some time. When this was first designed it was banned by the UN in 1995 as it caused permanent blindness to suspects.
Nevertheless, it has been worked on to only temporarily disorient and blind a target, most especially when there is something critical in the form of information that one is trying to get.
8. Railgun
Developed by BAE Systems for the U.S. Navy, the railgun can fire a projectile up to 4,600 mph. This weapon does not use gunpowder or chemical propellants but is dangerous enough to get the enemy at over 100 nautical miles. Already, it has swallowed some $500 million as it is still being developed. The Navy hopes to protect warships with this weapon. Also, it will be used as anti-aircraft and anti-missile weaponry. However, it has recently been reported that it may not get to see combat.
9. Hummingbird Drones
These look like very innocent birds, except they are neither innocent nor are the birds. These are dangerous as what they do is to spy on the enemy and get information. There are many more robots that have been designed to mimic both small and large animals including dogs and almost anything else you can think of.
9. M32 Multiple Grenade Launcher
This weapon which was developed first in South Africa before the US marine designed theirs, is a grenade launcher which has the ability to fire six 40mm grenades in less than six seconds and 18 in a minute. Among the dangerous military technologies, this may be among the simplest, and yet it cannot be taken for granted. What is has is accuracy and speed on its part.
