Her Early Life and Rise to Fame
Victoria Orenze is a native of Rivers state in south-south Nigeria – the same state another music artist Mercy Chinwo hails from. While the exact year of her birth is not known, she celebrates her birthday on 23 March every year.
She led her childhood away from the public’s attention but is believed to have been born and raised in a Christian home.
When she was younger, she started singing in her church’s choir. From being a backup singer at the time, she was propelled to leading worship and praises.
Moreso, she took interest in songwriting. Along the line, she received an urgency in her spirit to share the word of God with people.
This has then led to a great journey into Christian ministration. She has held preaching, revival, and music so close to her heart.
As part of her work, she organized a Christian Concert, Return in 2016 in Lagos. The concert saw the attendance of thousands of people while several others took time to participate through visual means.
She has had several other concerts, including one with Nathaniel Bassey and Dunsin Oyekan tagged “Thy Kingdom Come” revival. The concert which was held in the United Kingdom sold within minutes. Also, due to the high traffic, the Wembley website crashed numerous times.
Victoria Orenze Had Her Career Breakthrough in 2017 After Featuring in Nathaniel Bassey’s Alagbada Ina
While Victoria has contributed a lot to music and gospel before 2017, the year marked her break in the music industry. This is the result of her being featured on Nathaniel Bassey’s hit song, Alagbada Ina.
Since the song’s release, both Nathaniel Bassey’s fame and that of Orenze grew. Orenze has gone on to release the worship song On Fire.
She has then released several other songs and has also graced many stages preaching the word of God and also helping women.
Her music has been received in Nigeria and beyond. Many of her fans believe that her music is healing to the soul as well as gives some form of connection with God.
Apart from the messages she passes on her own to her listeners, she has worked with other artists such as Dunsin Oyekan, Sinach, Sammy Okposo, and Frank Edwards.

Is Victoria Orenze Married?
Orenze was married but the marriage failed in 2008. She kept this fact a secret from the public and only publicly revealed this part of her life in January 2022.
The reason for the divorce according to the singer and preacher was the domestic abuse she received from her ex. According to her, she initially did not want to end the union and would fight to maintain it despite the beatings she received.
Well, the ill-treatment did not stop and she had to remind herself that the bible reveals that “two cannot work together unless they agree”.
From the knowledge she has shared, she is a lover of marriage and encourages people to stay in it. However, when there is violence, she would advise people to take a break.
