In recent times, the economy of Nigeria has fallen and there is even a massive increase in the rate of unemployment in the nation. Several small and medium scale enterprises have also risen around the country as the people’s means of poverty alleviation. In a bid to also ensure productivity through knowledge and skill acquisition and development and also boost social development and economic growth, the federal government launched the N-Power scheme.
Under this platform, interested Nigerians (youths of 18- 35 years of age) are offered an opportunity to acquire and develop a skill of their choice. To ascertain the seriousness of applicants, there are a number of requirements put in place by the government. One key step is taking and passing appropriate tests and showing a strong desire for success. It is also required that an applicant portrays eagerness to learn every necessary skill that will lead to him being successful.
N-POWER TEST REQUIREMENTS
A minimum requirement of a certificate from any tertiary institution, be it NCE, OND, HND, B.Sc, B.A etc., is expected for some skills, although some instances allow a selection of no degree or diploma such as the N-Power Build.

Available packages under the scheme are grouped into the graduate category and non-graduate category and they include:
